PESHAWAR: Surveying is in progress in the NA-45 Kurram by-decisions where PTI Director Imran Khan is one of the applicants.

Surveying started at 8am and will go on till 5pm with no break.

There are 16 up-and-comers, including PTI boss Imran Khan, Jamil Khan of Jamiat Ulema e Islam-Fazal (JUI-F) and Sher Muhammad Khan of Jamaat Islami (JI), challenging the races.

An intense rivalry is normal between Imran Khan and PDM supported up-and-comer Jamil Khan.

There are 198,618 enrolled electors — 111,349 men and 87,269 ladies — in the electorate, as per the representative of the political race commission.

The citizens will project their votes at 143 surveying stations — 119 of them have been proclaimed exceptionally delicate and 24 others delicate, as per the representative.

Area Cop (DPO) Kurram, Arbab Shafiullah said that security courses of action had been finished for by-races in NA-45 and transportation of political decision material had been begun.

He said that 2,100 cops had been deputed on surveying obligation.

The DPO has approached political pioneers and laborers to submit to rules and help out police to keep up with harmony during the political decision today.
