RAWALPINDI: Terming a report of BBC Urdu unjustifiable and a bunch of blatant falsehoods, the media wing of military, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Sunday said the matter was being taken up with BBC specialists.
"The BBC Urdu story distributed today is absolutely unjustifiable and a bunch of blatant falsehoods. The commonplace misleading publicity story misses the mark on tenable, true and pertinent source and abuses fundamental editorial ethos. There is no reality in the phony story at all and obviously appears a piece of a coordinated disinformation crusade," the ISPR said.
Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf pioneer Ali Zaidi said the story was outright refuse. "I'm stunned to see that BBC Urdu distributed this hogwash," he said.
