Eighty new prayer halls opened at Makkah’s Grand Mosque

As a feature of the third period of extension at the Grand Mosque in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, the public authority has opened 80 new supplication corridors to admirers interestingly during Ramadan this year, the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque reported.


Walid Al-Masoudi, the head of the overall organization of the Third Saudi Expansion at the Grand Mosque, said the new lobbies are on the ground and first floors and the first and second mezzanine levels of the mosque.


Admirers can get to them through various doors on the northern, western, and eastern sides of the mosque, as well as the primary entryway.


The new offices address 95% of the complete limit of supplication lobbies inside the part of the mosque that houses them, which can now oblige up to 300,000 admirers. On the off chance that these inside corridors are full, the northern patios can hold 280,000 extra admirers, and there is space for considerably more in the western yards, Arab News announced.
