Professor in India suspended for referring to examples of rape in Hindu mythology

A teacher from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) was suspended for alluding to instances of assault in Hindu folklore that hurt strict feelings of understudies and staff, NDTV revealed.

Dr Jitendra Kumar, who is an associate teacher at AMU's Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, alluded to these models during a class on clinical statute.

College authorities called it a major issue of unfortunate behavior and gave the teacher 24 hours to account for himself.

Subsequent to getting the notification, Kumar apologized.

Prof Kumar kept in touch with the Vice Chancelor and said, "My expectation was not to hurt strict opinions of a specific religion and it was done distinctly to feature that assault has been a piece of our general public since long."

He referenced that it was "an accidental mix-up" and furthermore consoled that "no such occurrence will happen from here on out".

Discussion had started after an understudy posted the teacher's video cut via web-based entertainment.
